For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $315,000 in Norfolk for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $318,800 in May.

Berkley had 17 new listings and 17 listings that went under contract in April, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 10—down 16.67% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in May.

The median listing price for homes in Berkley fell 6.75% from March to April, bringing the current median listing price to $275,000. Based on projected data for May, listing prices may continue to fall.

The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract has been fairly steady year-over-year.
