The typical home value in Fremont County is projected to be $270,950 for the month of March. February's finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $287,300—down 11.6% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $414,900 in Wyoming for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $338,900 in March.
Fremont County had 29 new listings and 26 listings that went under contract in February, and this decreasing trend left the area's total available inventory at 119—down 3.25% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to decrease in March.
Of those 119 active listings, 10.08% reduced their price in the month of February. The median listing price for homes in Fremont County fell 7.41% from January to February, bringing the current median listing price to $368,500. Based on projected data for March, listing prices may continue to fall.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract fell year-over-year. In February 2026, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 120 days, compared to 168 days in February 2025. In recent months the median number of days from listed to pending appears to be steady. That trend is predicted to have carried through to this March.
