I was raised in Mill Valley & have called Marin County home for over 50 years. Currently I reside in San Rafael with my wife & daughter & have been successfully buying and selling homes in Marin for over 18 years. Marin is unique and varies distinctly from one town to the next. San Rafael alone has over 30 neighborhoods that all have their prominent nuances. I am prepared to discuss all Marin neighborhoods in depth including their schools, weather patterns, commutes, hiking/biking trails, dog parks, festivals as well as other distinct features. He's got a great "posse" behind him! He's a lifelong Marin county local and knows every nook and cranny of the county, and is cognizant of what's going on with changes in local laws, taxes, and upcoming construction projects. John's a great active listener, but I also thoroughly enjoyed hearing his stories about growing up in Marin, being a realtor, and being a real estate investor himself. We just bought our first home with John's help! Being first time home buyers, we were nervous, didn't know what to expect, and had lots of questions. John made himself available on short notices to see homes we were interested in right away. He knew what to look for (potential issues in a house), pointing out things as we walked around. It is a really competitive market, but with John's help we were able to get our first offer accepted and we feel very good that we didn't overpay, but we chose the house and budget that made the most sense for us. We went into escrow at a very crazy busy time with a Hawaii vacation that was already planned beginning before the second week of escrow. John was so easy to work with and went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly and we closed on time. He went to the house to over see the chimney and pest inspections since we couldn't be there but we were at peace knowing that he was at the house and would alert us of any issues.

John is THE realtor in Marin and surrounding areas. I am so happy that I met him during our journey of home buying process. I was in the market for a condo/townhomes in the Bay area. I was not yet sure about the location and so I was looking at some realtors who could help me show some places before I finalized my location.
