I live in Chicago, far from an investment property located in Key West. After many years of ownership, I finally decided it was time to sell, even though I anticipated unhappy tenants, costly repairs, and many months of lost rent. I interviewed several agents over the phone and selected Monika because I felt that she could work best with my tenants, whose cooperation I needed to repair, photograph and show the house. As expected, it was up and down with my tenants. Showings were not always easy because she had to work around my tenants’ schedules. And she negotiated a higher sales price than I expected. I was out of Florida during the entire process, so she was my eyes, ears, and feet on the ground. She was always available when I called and fielded every challenge. Like a shock absorber, she made my life easier by cushioning me from the inevitable annoyances of buying and selling property. I really don’t think that I would have done as well without her.
