June’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the neighborhood to be $1,050,000—down 30.92% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $1,175,000 in Castro Valley for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $1,187,500 in July.
Palomares Hills had 12 new listings and 12 listings that went under contract in June, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 2—down 50.0% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in July.
