September’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the neighborhood to be $2,285,000—up 6.28% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $1,535,000 in San Mateo for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $1,475,000 in October.

Sugarloaf had 30 new listings and 25 listings that went under contract in September, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 11—up 57.14% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in October.
