Claymont had 9 new listings and 9 listings that went under contract in September, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 15—up 36.36% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in October.
Of those 15 active listings, 26.67% reduced their price in the month of September. The median listing price for homes in Claymont fell 31.79% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $289,900. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to fall.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract rose year-over-year.
