Inventory and contract activity in Wilkes County have shifted notably in recent months, with 39 active listings in September and months of supply jumping to 8.8, far above Georgia’s 5.6 months. Even though active listings are down nearly 28% from a year ago, homes sold and pending sales have each fallen by more than 40% year over year, signaling slower buyer follow-through.
