Year-over-year, South Chicago’s rolling three-month figures show prices easing while activity picks up. The typical home value is down nearly 12 percent from a year ago to about $185,000, yet homes sold are up more than 40 percent and pending sales have jumped nearly 47 percent, signaling stronger buyer engagement.
