Fayette County’s housing numbers show mixed shifts compared with last year. Typical home values are slightly lower year over year, even as active listings have risen and inventory has grown to 3.8 months of supply. At the same time, homes are spending far fewer days on the market than they did a year ago, pointing to quicker decisions once buyers engage.

Homes sold and pending sales are down from last year, while new listings are slightly higher and overall inventory has increased about 16 percent year over year.
