Year-over-year, Frederick County home values are essentially flat, with the typical sale price down just a fraction while the median list price is up nearly 4 percent. Homes sold climbed almost 14 percent from last May, and active listings are up about 17 percent, giving buyers more choices than a year ago. Compared with Maryland overall, Frederick County’s typical sale price sits higher, while the county still shows a tighter months of supply than the state.
