I began my real estate career as a property manager, overseeing single-family homes and investing in rental properties. I soon discovered that my true passion is helping people buy and sell their homes in a smart, strategic way. Early on, my team developed a marketing program designed to reach buyers from the D.C. area and beyond who were seeking more value in the rural communities of Virginia and West Virginia. Liz McDonald and her team provided excellent service for the recent sale of our West Virginia vacation cabin. As out of state owners, we needed help removing some belongings that normally the owner would do; and there was maintenance needed. Dandridge has local service contractors at reasonable cost. Liz knew when to put the property on the market and her plan worked. We received multiple offers over an extended weekend, and the cabin was quickly sold with settlement within 30 days of the contract signing. This is a well-managed realty group that I highly recommend.

When my wife and I began looking for homes, I contacted several realty groups. Dandridge, specifically Romina Porter was the first to contact me back. Contact was within 24 hours on a weekend evening, so it was already evident that availability was not going to be an issue. Our home search took about a month...even when we wanted to go back to properties to look again, she never complained or made any comments; she was quite happy to simply assist us in searching for what we wanted.

Once we found the home we wanted to purchase, she was excellent in the closing process. The seller wasn't exactly cooperative, but Romina helped everyone, the seller's agent included, navigate the situation. When the seller refused to even help pay for the required radon mitigation, she was able to work with the seller's agent to take care of it out of their commission.

Her performance was excellent, and I've already recommended her and Dandridge to several coworkers and friends...
