For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $665,000 in Douglas County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $667,500 in May.

Genoa had 4 new listings and 8 listings that went under contract in April, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 20—down 16.67% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in May.

Of those 20 active listings, 15.0% reduced their price in the month of April. The median listing price for homes in Genoa grew 2.69% from March to April, bringing the current median listing price to $1,240,000. Based on projected data for May, listing prices may continue to grow.
