The typical home value in Iredell County is projected to be $381,300 for the month of October. September’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $385,000—up 1.32% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $379,900 in North Carolina for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $374,800 in October.
Iredell County had 1,238 active listings in September, including 343 new listings. Overall, active listings were down 0.88% from the previous month.
Of those 1,238 active listings, 34.17% reduced their price in the month of September. The median listing price for homes in Iredell County grew 8.36% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $439,900. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to grow.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract has been fairly steady year-over-year. In September 2025, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 65 days, compared to 69 days in September 2024. In recent months the median number of days from listed to pending appears to be steady. That trend is predicted to have carried through to this October.
