Finneytown’s rolling three-month data through May 2026 shows prices holding slightly above last year, with the typical home value up about 2 percent. Sales activity, however, has cooled year over year, with homes sold down nearly 19 percent. At the same time, inventory has expanded, as active listings rose about 29 percent compared with a year ago, signaling more options than buyers saw last spring.

Homes now sit on the market a median of 41 days, which is much slower than the very fast conditions seen in 2023 but still quicker than some points in 2022. About 56 percent of properties are going off the market within two weeks, showing that well-priced homes still move quickly.
