July’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $439,000—up 20.94% over the previous 12 months. Burnet County had 107 new listings and 74 listings that went under contract in July, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 588—down 4.55% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in August.
Of those 588 active listings, 34.35% reduced their price in the month of July. The median listing price for homes in Burnet County fell 2.72% from June to July, bringing the current median listing price to $447,500. Based on projected data for August, listing prices may continue to fall.
