Astrodome home values have fallen over the past year, with typical prices down about 21.81 percent. The typical home value now sits around $120,800, much lower than Houston’s citywide typical value of $345,000. Compared with last month, values have dipped another 1.39 percent, showing continued softening.

Recent listing activity reflects this shift, as the median list price dropped 10.5 percent month over month to about $133,350. Homes are taking longer to sell than a year ago, with median days on market up 16.22 percent to 86 days, though that’s 5.49 percent faster than just a month earlier. Inventory trends are mixed, with 135 homes on the market in March, down 14.56 percent from last year but up 5.47 percent month over month, and Houston as a whole showing a much larger pool of 8,397 homes.

Looking ahead to April 2026, forecasts point to only a slight further decline in Astrodome values, with the typical home value projected at $119,950 and the median list price at $125,525. Inventory is expected to edge up to about 138 homes, while March brought 94 new listings and 35 pending sales, a year-over-year drop of 27.13 percent and 37.5 percent respectively.
