Jim Wells County had 21 new listings and 14 listings that went under contract in May, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 87—up 1.16% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in June.

Of those 87 active listings, 14.94% reduced their price in the month of May. The median listing price for homes in Jim Wells County fell 24.07% from April to May, bringing the current median listing price to $224,000. Based on projected data for June, listing prices may continue to fall.
