McKinney had 313 new listings and 249 listings that went under contract in September, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 997—down 8.28% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in October.
Of those 997 active listings, 38.31% reduced their price in the month of September. The median listing price for homes in McKinney grew 0.2% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $500,000. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to grow.
