After graduating from Ball State University with a double degree in Finance (Corporate Finance and Real Estate), Derek worked as a stockbroker for six years and founded and sold three companies prior to his career in real estate. The Gutting Group was established in 2000 and has since grown to be ranked within the top half of one percent of all Indianapolis area real estate agents. His passion for the real estate business is evident, as he has expanded his services to include real estate investing services, relocation services, guaranteed buyout programs, and new construction consultation. Derek can also counsel on short sales as a Certified Distressed Property Expert. Derek's true passion lies in spending time with his two boys, playing golf, traveling, attending auctions, and investing.
