We lived in Wayland 31 years and know the town well. Doug knows extensive details about many neighborhoods. His comps were particularly carefully chosen given that our house had not been updated. Doug’s knowledge of the sale and closing process is very detailed. He provides very professional collateral, had good advice about when to enter the market and what the pros and cons of several offers were. His open houses were well timed and produced several offers. Doug returned most calls and texts in a few hours. It felt as though we Doug’s only deal working, though I’m pretty sure he had several other things going. We had one negotiation which involved a post inspection request for substantial price reduction. It would have been a deal breaker, but Doug helped us work out a counter offer we could live with that was accepted. Doug’s easy going but firm manner made working with him a pleasure.
