About
Some people enter real estate. Patrick Farrell chose to reimagine it.

For Patrick, the decision to co-found The Agency Narragansett was never about chasing a trend. It was about recognizing a moment—a point in time when Rhode Island's luxury real estate landscape had drifted away from the qualities that once made it exceptional—and deciding to do something about it.

Patrick brings to real estate a foundation most agents simply don't have. Before entering the industry, he held senior leadership positions in financial services, including serving as a vice president with Bank of America and operating his own mortgage brokerage. That background shaped his entire philosophy: every client relationship is approached with the analytical discipline of a financial advisor, the strategic patience of a long-term investor, and the directness of someone who has sat on both sides of high-stakes decisions.

He joined what was then one of Rhode Island's most storied luxury real estate organizations in 2017—a firm built on decades of white-glove service, boutique sensibility, and deep community trust. It was there that Patrick honed his understanding of what luxury real estate representation at its highest level truly looked like, and what was at risk of being lost as the industry began consolidating around scale, systems, and national brand power over local relationships and personal service.

What Patrick witnessed over the following years was an industry-wide shift—one that prioritized market share and corporate infrastructure over the personal, relationship-driven experience that clients had come to trust. He watched as the boutique culture that had defined luxury real estate in this region began to erode. And he recognized what was being left behind.

In 2021, together with his wife, business partner, and co-founder, Nicole Maine, Patrick began laying the groundwork for something different. Something better. The vision was clear: build the kind of brokerage South County deserved—one that combined the sophistication, global marketing reach, and brand power of a world-class luxury firm with the personalized service, local intelligence, and genuine human connection that no corporate playbook can replicate.

The result is The Agency Narragansett—a firm that Patrick describes not as a traditional brokerage, but as a luxury representation platform built around the belief that the next generation of real estate isn't about being bigger. It's about being better.

Today, Patrick leads the firm's strategic vision, market intelligence platform, business development, and luxury marketing initiatives while continuing to personally advise a select group of buyers, sellers, investors, and developers across Rhode Island's most sought-after coastal communities.

His approach has never changed: bring serious strategy, honest counsel, and genuine care to every client relationship. And never mistake volume for value.
