November’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $577,500—up 32.76% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $649,000 in Washington County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $653,500 in December.

Hopkinton had 8 new listings and 11 listings that went under contract in November, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 17—down 0.0% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in December.

Of those 17 active listings, 5.88% reduced their price in the month of November. The median listing price for homes in Hopkinton grew 25.29% from October to November, bringing the current median listing price to $499,900. Based on projected data for December, listing prices may continue to grow.

The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract fell year-over-year.
