September’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the neighborhood to be $1,637,500—up 9.17% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $1,400,000 in Huntington Beach for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $1,450,000 in October.
Oak View had 2 new listings and 4 listings that went under contract in September, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 5—up 25.0% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in October.
The median listing price for homes in Oak View fell 35.66% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $1,317,000. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to fall.
