November’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $1,400,000—down 5.88% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $1,175,000 in Orange County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $1,162,500 in December.
Yorba Linda had 35 new listings and 29 listings that went under contract in November, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 114—down 2.56% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in December.
Of those 114 active listings, 25.44% reduced their price in the month of November. The median listing price for homes in Yorba Linda fell 0.16% from October to November, bringing the current median listing price to $1,248,000. Based on projected data for December, listing prices may continue to fall.
