For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $280,000 in Marion County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $278,510 in January.
Silver Springs Shores East had 11 new listings and 15 listings that went under contract in December, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 70—down 13.58% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in January.
Of those 70 active listings, 22.86% reduced their price in the month of December. The median listing price for homes in Silver Springs Shores East grew 14.16% from November to December, bringing the current median listing price to $273,990. Based on projected data for January, listing prices may continue to grow.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract fell sharply year-over-year.
