“In June we started looking for a vacation home in Miramar Beach FL. Since we had a vacation home here a year ago and sold it, we knew the area where we wanted to buy. We also knew we did not want to use the realtor who sold our previous house so looking in Zillow was a good start. We are not local to FL – so having a good realtor is very important if a home is found. I found a property in Zillow – filled out the contact form – and met Allyson Price. We spent a little time on the phone so that we could discuss the property and she could understand what we were looking for. We decided not to move forward with that home. Allyson knows the area, market drivers and current situation. She advised us honestly and accurately on what has been going on since Covid. The market is on fire – houses go fast and usually for asking price. This helped our thinking and set expectations on reality. In late August we found a home we liked – Allyson coached us on the bid. We were going in low and there were 3 other offers so we weren’t even going to bother – but Allyson encouraged us to not give up and made a few suggestions. The “little” things sometimes matter.
