October’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $297,500—up 8.18% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $273,400 in Indiana for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $272,050 in November.

Kosciusko County had 94 new listings and 70 listings that went under contract in October, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 227—down 0.0% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in November.

Of those 227 active listings, 29.07% reduced their price in the month of October. The median listing price for homes in Kosciusko County fell 6.42% from September to October, bringing the current median listing price to $308,800. Based on projected data for November, listing prices may continue to fall.
