Lakewood’s rolling three-month figures show notable cooling from a year ago. The typical home value is down by about 13 percent year over year, with the median list price also lower by nearly 13 percent. Compared with the broader New Orleans market, where prices inched up a few percent, Lakewood is softening on price.
Current conditions highlight both fewer listings and slower demand. Active listings have fallen by roughly 44 percent from last year’s rolling period, and homes sold are down about 24 percent, pointing to a smaller pool of transactions overall.
