For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $580,000 in Cumberland County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $600,000 in May.

Bridgton had 9 new listings and 4 listings that went under contract in April, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 13—up 160.0% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in May.

Of those 13 active listings, 15.38% reduced their price in the month of April. The median listing price for homes in Bridgton fell 19.62% from March to April, bringing the current median listing price to $385,000. Based on projected data for May, listing prices may continue to fall.

The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract fell sharply year-over-year.
