April’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $144,090—down 11.2% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $144,090 in Dickinson County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $133,750 in May.
Iron Mountain had 11 new listings and 9 listings that went under contract in April, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 30—up 15.38% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in May.
Of those 30 active listings, 10.0% reduced their price in the month of April. The median listing price for homes in Iron Mountain grew 3.12% from March to April, bringing the current median listing price to $194,900. Based on projected data for May, listing prices may continue to grow.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract rose year-over-year. In April 2025, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 103 days, compared to 57 days in April 2024.
