Asbury Park had 22 new listings and 16 listings that went under contract in January, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 59—up 5.36% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in February.
Of those 59 active listings, 11.86% reduced their price in the month of January. The median listing price for homes in Asbury Park grew 49.45% from December to January, bringing the current median listing price to $822,000. Based on projected data for February, listing prices may continue to grow.
The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract has been fairly steady year-over-year.
