Pompey had 8 new listings and 8 listings that went under contract in August, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 11—down 26.67% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in September.
Of those 11 active listings, 63.64% reduced their price in the month of August. The median listing price for homes in Pompey grew 31.43% from July to August, bringing the current median listing price to $574,950. Based on projected data for September, listing prices may continue to grow.
