McKenzie County had 7 new listings and 5 listings that went under contract in April, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 16—down 15.79% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in May.
Of those 16 active listings, 18.75% reduced their price in the month of April. The median listing price for homes in McKenzie County grew 1.23% from March to April, bringing the current median listing price to $395,000. Based on projected data for May, listing prices may continue to grow.

In April 2025, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 48 days, compared to 43 days in April 2024.
