Garfield’s housing market has cooled notably compared with a year ago on a rolling three-month basis. Typical home values are down sharply year over year, falling about one-quarter even as Pittsburgh as a whole saw prices rise. New listings and pending sales have also dropped by roughly 40 to 50 percent from last year, pointing to weaker turnover.
