September’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $269,900—up 1.85% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $306,800 in Pennsylvania for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $298,000 in October.
Sullivan County had 8 new listings and 9 listings that went under contract in September, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 28—down 9.68% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in October.

The median listing price for homes in Sullivan County grew 31.19% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $387,000. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to grow.
