July’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $327,410—up 30.96% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $289,900 in Spartanburg County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $287,400 in August.
Inman had 7 new listings and 8 listings that went under contract in July, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 41—down 2.38% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in August.
Of those 41 active listings, 29.27% reduced their price in the month of July. The median listing price for homes in Inman fell 4.52% from June to July, bringing the current median listing price to $359,000. Based on projected data for August, listing prices may continue to fall.
