The typical home value in York County is projected to be $397,750 for the month of March. February’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the county to be $396,500—up 2.45% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, state-level data pegged home values at $376,100 in South Carolina for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $370,650 in March.

York County had 1,273 active listings in February, including 392 new listings. Overall, active listings were up 2.5% from the previous month.

Of those 1,273 active listings, 25.45% reduced their price in the month of February. The median listing price for homes in York County grew 0.55% from January to February, bringing the current median listing price to $417,290. Based on projected data for March, listing prices may continue to grow.

The number of days that homes have been on the market prior to going under contract fell year-over-year. In February 2026, the median time for a listed property to go pending was 96 days, compared to 113 days in February 2025. In recent months the median number of days from listed to pending appears to be decreasing. That trend is predicted to have carried through to this March.
