Lone Star real estate Market Report.

Information and statistics on the latest trends in the Lone Star real estate market, updated for April 2026. *

Home values in Lone Star have been shifting, with the typical home value at about $265,000 in February 2026, up 9.5% from a year earlier but sharply lower month over month, while the median list price held near $324,500 with only a slight 0.15% dip. Compared with San Antonio overall, where the typical value is around $260,000 and projected to rise to $265,000, Lone Star currently sits a bit higher but is expected to see its typical value ease to about $205,000 next month as list prices edge to roughly $324,250.

Listing and contract activity reflect these changing prices. Inventory in Lone Star was 29 homes in February, down 9.38% from the prior month and 12.12% from last year. New listings also fell 27.27% year over year to just 16 homes. At the same time, pending sales jumped 57.14% from a year ago, reaching 11 homes under contract.

Homes are taking longer to sell, with the median days on market stretching to 120 days, up 23.71% month over month and 38.73% year over year. Only about 20% of recent sales closed above list price, and the average sale-to-list ratio was roughly 0.93, signaling that many sellers are accepting modest discounts. Even with these dynamics, Lone Star is still classified as a seller’s market, and Agent Pronto can connect both buyers and sellers with an expert local agent to navigate this environment.

Learn more about what Lone Star has to offer.

Lone Star offers residents a welcoming, walkable community with local eateries, parks, and neighborhood events that encourage connection and a high quality of life.

Lone Star in San Antonio tends to appeal to buyers who want an urban feel with a creative edge and strong future potential. Young professionals, first-time buyers, and investors are drawn to its mix of historic homes, modest bungalows, and newer infill projects close to downtown and the San Antonio River Walk. Longtime residents appreciate the area’s authenticity and access to everyday conveniences along South Flores and South Alamo.

Walkable access is a major draw. Locals head to Blue Star Arts Complex for galleries, eateries, and live events, or stroll and cycle the Mission Reach of the river for miles of trails. Families often look to nearby schools within San Antonio ISD, while food lovers appreciate the growing scene around Southtown and into King William.

From compact condos that appeal to commuters into Downtown San Antonio to fixer-uppers with ADU potential, the housing stock supports a wide range of goals. Some owners focus on long-term appreciation as industrial spaces evolve, while others prioritize walkable nightlife and quick access to the San Pedro Creek Culture Park.

Because Lone Star is in active transition, micro-location matters. One block can mean a different feel, school option, or resale trajectory. Partnering with an Agent Pronto recommended agent who understands block-by-block trends, upcoming projects, and realistic pricing can help both buyers and sellers make confident moves in Lone Star.

“Justin Brickman was awesome throughout my entire experience! He was responsive from the moment we connected. He listened to what I was looking for and immediately set up a search that recommended properties to me daily. As I learned more about the city and asked him more questions, we refined the search until an amazing deal became available. Justin immediately sent it over and helped me do everything that needed to be done in order to get the property under contract quickly. Justin had connections that were able to help with everything from insurance to home inspections. I never would have been able to get such a great deal on my own. We got a huge discount on the property and it appraised for $30k more than what I paid. I can't thank Justin enough for being such a huge help and essentially walking me through my very first rental property deal.”

“I could never say enough good things about Ray Deleon and the lengths he goes to assist and be your friend and brings his family in to help. I adore him and his family. He was patient with me in my situation as my husband had passed and selling the home my husband and I built, knowing how heartbroken I was about it. There really ought to be training for realtors based solely on his model.”
