Inventory in Syracuse has been building in this rolling three-month view, with active listings up strongly from a year ago and new listings jumping more than 40 percent. Homes are also going under contract at a faster clip, as pending sales have risen year over year. Pace has shifted noticeably, with homes now taking about a month and a half to sell on a typical basis, much slower than this time last year but quicker than just a month ago. Roughly one-quarter of recent sales closed above list price, and about one-third of homes went off the market within two weeks, showing that well-priced properties can still move quickly.
