September’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the neighborhood to be $627,000—up 5.38% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $857,500 in Seattle for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $836,250 in October.

South Beacon Hill had 23 new listings and 6 listings that went under contract in September, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 21—up 5.0% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in October.

The median listing price for homes in South Beacon Hill grew 0.39% from August to September, bringing the current median listing price to $642,000. Based on projected data for October, listing prices may continue to grow.
