My wife and I were just thinking about downsizing, and selling our home which we had been in for the last 20 years, when we came upon our new home while just driving around and looking for signs in the yards and following up on homes we had seen online. We saw their sign and called Grant immediately. He set us up to see the new house that day, actually about an hour later. My wife and I fell in love with the house right away, and quickly decided we wanted to move forward with trying to purchase our new home. My contact with Grant Bim Real Estate began on a Saturday night with a phone call . Reaching out to me as a cold call and introducing their agency to me, and offering to re-list me house. The thought of a company still making phone calls and marketing the old fashioned way, made me curious. We arranged to meet at my house and I guess figure out what we all were thinking.
They arrived on time! The meeting started with a hand shake and lasted at least 2 hours. We walked the house and talked about expectations and I explained that my time line was 30 days. Meaning that if I sign with them; I want an offer in 2 weeks and settlement in 30 days!! They gave me 2 options; continue the course that I had been on or be aggressive and create some action/showings with the house.
Since it had already been on the market for 4 months - I went the aggressive route. Within 2 weeks I had over 30 showings and 5 offers!!!
