About Yily Yilena Mendoza
Yilena Mendoza has been introducing families to the beauty of Miami for the past decade. Born and
raised in Cuba, Yilena moved to Miami, Florida, at nineteen years old . Shortly after their move, her
father struggled with the difficulties accompanying a defaulted home loan. Although he attempted
to navigate a short sale, with the housing market crisis of 2007 and no one to point him in the right
direction, Yilena watched as her family, like many others, lost their home. With this experience
impacting her life significantly, she became motivated to learn more about the real estate process.
Determined to offer guidance to other families navigating hard times, she dedicated herself to
becoming the kind of real estate agent her own family had needed.

I’ve to admit that we’re not easiest clients to deal with. Especially flying down from Boston a couple of times and cramming in so many viewings in the space of a few days. It was intense and enough for any person, except for Yily ! She did it all and more and always, always with a smile. Then when we found the “right” house she got it right away and went above and beyond to make the deal happen. There’s slight difference between purchasing a home in FL than MA and Yily was very helpful in explaining those differences. If I ever need a Real Estate agent again, I certainly will be in contact with Yily to make it happen. To top it off, I would consider Yily now a friend of mine, that’s hard to beat
