October’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the neighborhood to be $974,500—up 9.86% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, city-level data pegged home values at $815,000 in Chula Vista for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $811,250 in November.
Rancho-Del Rey had 15 new listings and 13 listings that went under contract in October, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 7—down 0.0% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in November.
The median listing price for homes in Rancho-Del Rey grew 0.1% from September to October, bringing the current median listing price to $899,900. Based on projected data for November, listing prices may continue to grow.
