January’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $635,000—down 0.7% over the previous 12 months. Palm Desert had 266 new listings and 166 listings that went under contract in January, increasing the area’s total available inventory to 751—up 16.25% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further increased in February.
