Year-over-year, Saugus home values in this rolling three-month view are slightly higher, with the typical home value up about 1 to 2 percent. Listing activity has expanded compared with a year ago, as active listings rose more than 20 percent and new listings increased over 20 percent as well. At the same time, homes sold are down nearly 9 percent from last year, showing that inventory is building faster than completed sales.
