South Worcester is seeing more homes come to market in this rolling three-month view, with active listings up slightly from a year ago and months of supply rising about 48 percent to 2.4. New listings are up more than 19 percent year over year, giving buyers more options than they had last spring. Sales volume has cooled compared with last year, with homes sold down nearly 30 percent year over year, even as pending sales are only slightly lower. Compared with Worcester overall, South Worcester’s prices sit a bit below the citywide median, and inventory is somewhat tighter, reinforcing its seller’s market label.
