Market gauge is calculated using active listings and pending sales from the most recently available reporting period (May 2026).

Year over year, Wright County’s typical home value edged down slightly, even as the median list price rose by more than 5 percent, suggesting sellers are testing higher asking prices than a year ago. Compared with Minnesota overall, local prices remain higher, with Wright County’s typical home value above the state median.

In the latest May 2026 snapshot, inventory expanded, with active listings up nearly 10 percent from last year and close to 1,000 homes on the market. Months of supply also climbed almost 40 percent year over year, landing just under three months and reinforcing its status as a seller’s market, but with more options emerging for buyers.

Sales activity shows a mixed picture, as homes sold are down about 11 percent from last May even though May closings jumped sharply from April. At the same time, homes are taking much longer to sell than a year ago, yet nearly one-third still close above list price and the average sale-to-list ratio sits just under 100 percent, so both buyers and sellers can benefit from Agent Pronto’s help in finding the right agent to navigate these conditions.

“I was in immediate need of housing. Stephanie was recommended by a friend who had just worked with her on a home purchase. Stephanie met with me to detail my housing requirements. She found a home that exceeded my needs and met a couple of my dreams in just a couple of days. From our initial meeting to closing was less than three weeks. There is only one word to describe Stephanie; PHENOMATASTIC!”

“Susan helped me sell my dad's house after he unexpectedly passed away in 2025. She was so kind and empathetic about my situation, and very patient as it took us months to empty the house before it was listed. But from the start she worked hard to get us the right resources and information. She was incredibly helpful during the selling process and gave great suggestions on price. She made the process pretty easy!”
