Pricing shows mixed signals, as the typical home value is around $254,000 while the median list price has dipped a few percent compared with last year. At the same time, more homes are being brought to market, with new listings up nearly 18 percent year over year and active listings inching higher, giving buyers a bit more to choose from than a year ago.
