November’s finalized data reported the typical value of a home in the city to be $277,500—up 0.94% over the previous 12 months. For comparison, county-level data pegged home values at $435,000 in Collin County for the most recent reporting period. That number is expected to float around $432,500 in December.

Farmersville had 4 new listings and 2 listings that went under contract in November, decreasing the area’s total available inventory to 31—down 8.82% from the previous month. Inventory is projected to have further decreased in December.

Of those 31 active listings, 25.81% reduced their price in the month of November. The median listing price for homes in Farmersville grew 77.58% from October to November, bringing the current median listing price to $487,450. Based on projected data for December, listing prices may continue to grow.
